Board of Supervisors Meeting - April 8, 2024On Monday, April 8, the Buchanan County Board of Supervisors voted to extend the moratorium on commercial wind energy for one year. This is to give the BOS more time to consider the new WECs regulations submitted by the Planning & Zoning Commission. However, the BOS does have the option of ending the moratorium early if they should finish sooner and wish to vote before one year is up.
